How does the test work?
The FIRST RESPONSE™ Early Result In-Stream Pregnancy Test detects in urine the hormone your body makes during pregnancy (hCG human chorionic gonadotropin). The FIRST RESPONSE™ Early Result In-Stream Pregnancy Test is sensitive enough that most women have enough hCG to be detected as early as 6 days sooner than the day of their missed period (5 days before day of expected period)1. The amount of pregnancy hormone increases as pregnancy progresses.
When can I do the test?
You can test as early as 6 days before your missed period (5 days before day of expected period)1. You can use the FIRST RESPONSE™ Early Result In-Stream Pregnancy Test any time of the day. You don´t have to use the first morning urine. Generally, however, your first morning urine contains the highest level of pregnancy hormones.
How accurate is the FIRST RESPONSE™ Early Result In-Stream Pregnancy Test?
First Response is >99% accurate from the day of the expected period in laboratory studies.
How do I read the results?
After following the instructions for use, if there are two pink lines in the Result Window this is a positive result.
One line may be lighter than the other; they do not have to match. If there is only one pink line in the Result Window this is a negative result. There will be no trace of a second line.
