Every Jobst product has a specific compression level designed to help manage specific venous and lymphatic conditions.
This stockings’ compression level is 15-20mm Hg
What's different between levels of compression?
15-20 mmHg*
Tired, aching legs; minor ankle, leg and foot swelling; minor varicosis.
20-30mmHg*
Tired, aching legs; moderate to severe varicosis; post vein surgery; post sclerotherapy; moderate tendency of edema; for adjunct management of superficial thrombophlebitis/SVT; helps prevent recurrence of ulcerations.
30-40mmHg*
Severe varicose veins; edema; active patients with lymphoedema in ISL stage I-III with no or minimal shape distortion (not applicable for Casual Pattern); post vein surgery; post sclerotherapy; venous ulcers; CVI; manages manifestations of PTS; helps prevention of post thrombotic syndrome.

Sizing
S: Largest circumference of the calf: 28-38cm (11"-15")
Smallest circumference of the ankle: 18-21cm (7" - 8¼")
M: Largest circumference of the calf: 30-42cm (11⅞" - 16½")
Smallest circumference of the ankle: 21-25cm (8⅜" - 9⅞")
L: Largest circumference of the calf: 32-46cm (12½" - 18⅛")
Smallest circumference of the ankle: 25-29cm (10" - 11⅜")
XL: Largest circumference of the calf: 34-50cm (13⅞" - 19⅝")
Smallest circumference of the ankle: 29-33cm (11½" - 13")
Direction
While putting on these compression stockings, do not pull on the edge of the stocking. Instead use as per the instructions given below:
1) Open the foot fabric using both hands and pull over the foot, all the way up to the heels
2) Gradually pull compression stockings over instep and heels
3) Then gradually pull the compression stocking upward by returning the stocking to a right-side out position piece-by-piece.
4) Then distribute the stocking evenly by massaging with both hands until the stocking fits without forming creases. It is particularly helpful to wear rubber gloves for this step.

Jobst medical compression stockings SHOULD NOT BE WORN if you have any of the following conditions: Ischemia (e.g., advanced arterial disease); uncontrolled congestive heart failure; untreated septic phlebitis; Phlegmasia cerulea dolens; sensitivity to fabric.
Consult your physician for advice if you have or experience: Skin infections; weeping dermatoses; advanced peripheral neuropathy; severely compromised skin sensibility and impaired sensitivity of the limb; immobility (confinement to bed). Conditions in which increased venous and lymphatic return is not desired.
